April is Autism Acceptance Month

SHINE A LIGHT
FOR AUTISM ACCEPTANCE

Join the movement to create better communities for your families affected by autism

Hey, Alabama Friends!

YOUR TOWN IS INVITED TO GO BLUE FOR AUTISM

Alabama is a great state because of the people who live here wanting to make a positive difference in their communities. Each area of the state is special in its own way. Invite your city officials to take part or consider turning your porch light blue!

Is there a landmark or building you'd like to see blue? We have seen courthouses, prominent buildings, fountains and even porch lights turned blue to show support of families and their loved ones affected by autism.

This April, we envision more landmarks and buildings across the state shining blue to show awareness for the 1 in 44 Alabamians who live with autism daily. Residences can go blue too.

Please let us know if you and your town will SHINE A BLUE LIGHT FOR AUTISM!

For more information, please email us at  info@autism-alabama.org.

During April, use the hashtag #alabamashinesblueforautism and share photos of your favorite landmark turned blue on social media. If your house is shining a light blue, we want to see that too!

Thanks in advance from the Autism Support of Alabama and the families we serve.
