Information and referral

ASA is the state's leading source for information on autism. ASA maintains a current list of service providers, as well as, an information and referral hotline.

Networking Groups

ASA has a statewide network of over 30 groups that create community support and awareness through monthly meetings and family adventures. ASA provides these groups with resources, such as Bullying Prevention programs, to aid families who are caring for an individual on the autism spectrum. ASA also offers scholarships for parents and professionals to attend autism specific conferences and co-hosts the Alabama Autism Conference.

Family Camps

Camp Frog

In partnership with Easter Seals, ASA offers weekend family camps at Camp ASCCA. Zip lining, canoeing, horseback riding, and many other recreational activities create a camp experience that parents report to be invaluable.
